Osasuna Completes Second Training Ahead of Real Sociedad Match
Los Rojillos work behind closed doors
Club Atlético Osasuna held a training session at El Sadar as the team prepares to host Real Sociedad on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CET (5:30 p.m. GMT/12:30 p.m. ET). Today's practice focused on the game plan and featured intrasquad matches.
Midfielder Lucas Torró participated in part of the session as he continues his specific training regimen. Absent from today's training were defender Valentín Rosier, midfielder Jon Moncayola, and forwards Iker Benito and Ante Budimir, all of whom are recovering from injuries. Forward Sheraldo Becker, who competed overnight with his national team in World Cup Qualifiers against Guatemala, was also unavailable. Tomorrow, Becker and Suriname will find out who they will face in the FIFA Playoff Tournament as they seek a place in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Joining the first team in training today were Osasuna Promesas goalkeeper Dimitrios Stamatakis, defenders Unai Santos and Miguel Auría, midfielders Mauro Echegoyan and Bruno Pérez, and forwards Carlos Lumbreras and Aly Kall.
Tomorrow, Los Rojillos will conduct a hybrid training session, with the first part closed to the public, reopening at approximately 11:20 a.m. The final training session of the week is scheduled for Friday at 11 a.m.
